    [DE] Hoffnung
    Die Zeichnung ist um 1990 entstanden. Sie stellt Menschen in schlechtem körperlichem Zustand und mit Lumpen zugedeckt dar. Gefangene, wie es aussieht, da Mauer und Stacheldraht ihre Bewegung einschränken. Der Liegende vorn wurde offensichtlich gefoltert.

    Jedoch, auch in dieser schrecklichen Situation, ist nicht Alles verloren. Eine Hand - eines Engels? - nimmt die vom Schicksal geprüften Menschen auf. Vielleicht ist aus ihr sogar die Friedenstaube entflogen und schwebt schützend über die Verdammten.

    The drawing dates from around 1990. It represents people in bad shape, covered with rags. Probably prisoners, as walls and barbed wires seem to restrict their liberty of movement. The lying one has been tortured obviously.

    Le dessin date des années 1990. Des humains en mauvais état physique et couverts de guenilles, se regroupent autour d'une figure assise ou agenouillée. Des prisonniers peut-être dont les mouvements sont entravés par murs et fers barbelés. Une figure allongée sur le plan avant a dû avoir été torturée.

    Cependant, même dans cette terrible situation, tout espoir n'est pas mort. Une main - d'un ange? - recueille ces damnés du destin. Une colombe de la paix vole consolatrice au-dessus d'eux qui peut-être prit son essor de la main maternelle.
